Day 7 - Adelaide

After having breakfast at home, I went shopping around the Rundle Street while waiting for YY to settle some of her lab stuffs. While waiting to meet up with YY for lunch, YS brought me snap a few pictures near Uni of South Australia.

Had Italian Cuisine for lunch at Amalfi, a very well-known Restaurant which was packed with people only 10 minutes after it started operating swt.

3 of us shared the two plates of food, yet we couldn't finish them..

While waiting for YY to attend a workshop from 1-3pm, YS brought me around Uni of Adelaide and Uni of SA before I continued shopping at the Rundle Mall.. (lol.. shop shop shop! shopaholic me!)

Chocolates sold at Haigh's were really nice!!

Got myself a yoghurt drink at $5.50 (RM16.50!!) at the Rundle Mall and well, I must say it wasn't worth the price paid issh!

Sat by the Torren's River and chatted with YY for a while before we headed home..

Reached home, rested a while while waiting for YY and her housemates to discuss about their "meals for the coming week" so that they could plan on what to buy for their weekly groceries. Reminds me of the times we girls had in the hostel with Mei Hong.. Starting to wonder if I'll get good enough room mates next semester, or should I just move out with lam.. =S

Had Dinner in a Chinese Restaurant at China Town..

Then went grocery shopping with the girls...

Tried out this passion fruit yoghurt with mixed nuts toppings as recommended by YY. very nice!

Stopped by at the Victoria Square before we headed home..

Generally speaking, Adelaide is a slightly more quiet town as compared to Melbourne. the living pace there is slower and more peaceful. An ideal place for tranquility..

Day 6 - Melbourne + Adelaide

Woke up early in the morning on Day 6 because I needed to get to the market before I flew over to Adelaide.

Locked all my luggages and bags in the southern cross station..

Met up with Marcus at Hungry Jack's. Headed to the Victoria Market right away.

Breakfast. on him =D (a hot dog bun like this costed around $9 ok! RM27!!!)

Spanish Donut! - he said it's a must try so however full I was, I must try it before I leave Melbourne!!

Bought a couple of souvenirs, walked around the market, talked, took pictures and left.

Flew over to Adelaide in the evening. Finished 10 Chapters of my storybook while waiting to board the plane haha nbtd.

Was welcomed by Yann Yoong and Yeap Shen upon arrival..

YY and her housemate Teresa made me curry noodles for dinner. =)

Reminds me of the times I had with my two lovely room mates last semester.. More post on Adelaide trip coming up next.

Day 5 - Melbourne

Melbourne Central had sales on 19 May!

Sales!! Saless!! Sales when I'm on holiday and loaded with money!! muahahahaha!

Met up with Elaine and Sui Hui around noon-ish after my direct train from Geelong back to Melbourne Central.

Took our lunch in the Shark Fins Shop as suggested by Sui Hui the ex-bendahari =D

HK dimsum. Nice!

Gossiped gossiped yackety-yacked yacked talked talked talked and went SHOPPING! wheee~

After a long few hours of shopping, I suggested to try out some nice desserts instead of a "proper dinner" since most of the time I didn't have the space to fill in any of the desserts after having a proper meal.

Max Brenner! OMG it serves such fine pleasing chocolate desserts I loved it so so much!

Wish I could have just ONE bite of it now T.T

It was great meeting up with the two girls again after several years. Sentosarians gathering in Melbourne - how great was it!

Day 4 - Geelong

The whole of day four was spent in Geelong. Here's two pictures of where yih yung stays..

such a comfy house. Went to the supermarket the night before and got myself two passion fruits to try on.

Proceeded to Geelong Waterfront with yung and again, took lotsa pics =P

"Good morning world. It's a bright shiny day! wheeee~"

Like I said, don't get deceived by the sun. It was chilly there I actually wore another layer of long john inside..

Liars liars pants on fire! whoever lies to me will get a big fat punch! *bish*

As yung and I were busy talking along the way, we saw this gigantic man standing beside his helicopter greeting us with a big wide smile: "good morning ladies"

Yung: "Good morning man! how much does it cost to go for a ride?"

Him: "It's 140 dollars for ten minutes. just 70 dollars from each of you.."

Me: "Oh come on! we are just students.. we can negotiate about this can't we?" - typical Malaysian eh?

Him: "Alright, I'll give it a $130?"

Me: "Nah... make it $120"

Him: "alright.."

nyehehehe!

there we went!!

It was actually my first time going on a helicopter ride. No doubt I was pretty nervous at first, but it all went well. the scenery was awesome!

What an experience =) what a great day! what a holiday!!

Had my breakfast at the Panache Cafe..

Although the food up there looks just like a roti canai, it tastes NOTHING like it okay. In fact it is one of my favourte delicacies there. Ham and Cheese. Love it to the max!

Yung and I then went shopping at Westfield. Tried out a lot of weird clothes upon Yung's advice. Didn't quite liked them before I put them on my body.. but once I tried them OMG I couldn't resist owning them!

(camwhore pictures tak yah show la kan?)

Desserts at Planet Chocolate..

Quickly bought some australian nuts at Nutshack and headed back home. We were late for our next destination.

at home.. while waiting for yung's bf to get ready..

30 minutes later we arrived at Torquay!! wheee! thanks yung for persuading your bf to bring me there *hugs hugs kiss kiss muaaah*

Haven't had enough? Let's go to the next station: the Bells Beach!

beautiful, isn't it?

Lovely couple =) happy for her.

Anyway after we stopped by at the Roxy and Quiksilver shops (my purse bled badly then.. but they were having winter sales ok! how could I resist you tell me!!), yung brought be around her universitiy. since it was pretty dark, the quality of the pictures taken wasn't good. I only have a nice picture of the Deakin University's library..

that's all.. headed to a Thai Restaurant for dinner before we called it a day.

thanks to Wang Li for the treat =D
