To avoid the massive crowd in Keukenhof, I remember Richard (our tour guide) made us wake up at 5am, took breakfast at 6am and departed at 7am. We arrived at the Keukenhof entrance just before the garden was open for visiting. It really sounds as though it was a pain having to wake up so early during holiday.. Well if you were to ask me, I thought it was all worth it. Why? because when we arrived at the flower garden, there were less people around so we could take beautiful pictures without much "noise" in the background - trust me, this is VERY IMPORTANT!
Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the world's largest flower gardens. It has about 7 million flower bulbs planted in the park, covering an area of 79 acres. I was just browsing through my photo folder this morning and guess what? I actually took close to 300 photos in this garden itself lol!
Here are some of the selected ones. Have fun browsing through them! :)
