15/4/2017 - London City Tour

Last day in London was a customary city tour covering historical attractions like Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, No. 10 Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, London Bridge, Tower Bridge and Tower of London.

Before we bade Europe goodbye, we decided to have our last English meal in the Heathrow Airport...

Overall, I would say that my 11D8N Europe trip was truly an eye opening experience. Never in my wildest dream had I imagined myself visiting Europe before I turned 30. I am truly appreciative of the person who made this happen for me, truly grateful for the memorable, lovely experience. This trip has reminded me yet again of how big the world is, and how much are there for me to explore and discover outside my little, little world. Need to save up for more wonderful trips like this in the future!!

13/4/2017 - Poppies Fish & Chips, Sushi Samba

Even though I am not really a big fan of fish & chips, I must HIGHLY RECOMMEND Poppies Fish & Chips to all those who are visiting London. I must say it was the BEST fish & chips I have ever eaten so far.

Not forgetting my personal tour guide of the evening - Pooi Mun! Thank you so much for meeting me even after a long day at work! After dinner, PM brought us to this bar in Chinatown which looked really great but to our dismay, there was no tables available.

Instead, we took a cab to Heron Tower for a beautiful night view at Sushi Samba!!

After not meeting in about a year, we spent quite some time catching up with each other on lives in two different cities in the world.

All the best in London! Have lotsa fun there!!

13/4/2017 - Lyceum Theater for the Lion King

Seriously, what is a trip to London without watching a proper musical play??? Long before I departed for this trip, I was already looking in the internet on which musical to go for, scouting from one website to another on how to purchase the relevant tickets, comparing prices, venues and time. Should we go for the Wicked? or should we go for the Phantom?

After much contemplation, we finally agreed to settle with... the LION KING at Lyceum Theater!!

I was beyond excited to watch the play... noting that this particular interest of mine costs a bomb!

That satisfied look after coming out from the theater =D Needless to say, the musical was SUPERB! the casts were so into their roles, their singing was good, the props were fantastic. I really had a good time!! Now that I think about it... perhaps I should have watched two different shows instead of one..

Took a stroll along Oxford street before meeting up with a hometown friend for dinner that evening..

13/4/2017 - Little Venice, Leicester Square

Third day in London was pure free-and-easy. I still remember waking up slightly later that morning and arrived at Little Venice with the help of Google map - one of the reasons why I said London's pretty livable - it was so easy to get around from one place to another even for a tourist with no sense of direction like me!

After taking a walk around Little Venice, we took a tube from Warwick Avenue Station to Leicester Square to meet up with the rest of our tour group for lunch at the much awaited.....

Burger & Lonster!!!!

Burger & Lobster was really good in my opinion. I'm not sure if the one in Genting is equally delicious but I would personally recommend this as a must-eat for anyone who plans to visit London. thumbs up!!
