heavy heart
second day of lecture and it already felt like two weeks had passed. the weariness I feel is beyond the description of words. insomnia for three consecutive days now. as though my head and my heart are both competing against each other to offer as much pain as they could to me, I don't know how am I going to withstand this any longer..
personal problems, tests and assignments are all rushing in non stop. I really doubt my own capability of walking through this all alone this semester. Heck. I'm. just. not. used. to. it. but seriously, how long more do I want/need to drench myself in such solemnness? When am I gonna wake up and face the reality? Sigh!
I may be smiling every hour of every day, but they are only used to fool the world - of which I wish even I am part of the team, but I can't seem fool myself. How to lighten this heavy heart again?

Updates
Hey there! before I start showing another list of pictures (as usual), let me just highlight to all you awesome people that I stayed in on new year eve!!!!!
-.-
5 exclamation marks aside, it really wasn't that much of a big deal. right?
but why is it that when I answered questions like "eh where did you go on NYE ah?" the majority would go "YOU WOR!!! STAYED IN? HAHA don't lie girl!!" wth why can't I stay in on NYE eve? Jesus!
well year 2011 kicked start with an unexpected phone call from Japan. not from my sister, but my sister's friend LOL!! had a short conversation with Clem, Sis and MinLey for about 10 minutes (gosh they make me want to go Japan again!!) before my "you and me" ringing tone was played again.
"hello.. this is a phonecall from OCBC bank to tell you that your payment is overdue"
"hi ong chun hoong, i don't even have an OCBC account you may stop this joke now"
"miss I'm serious about this issue, if you do not pay your bill by..."
"oh well. i think I'm gonna hang up already"
"DON'T! ok lar ok lar! happy new year! where are you now"
"home.. why?"
"HOME? we fetch you to station 1 cafe now ok?"
"no. I'm sick. meet up tomorrow, 12pm at the chicken rice shop next to saujana ok? with Aimee and Anna"
"harr... ok see you tomorrow"
"well.. alright. if you turn up that is. good night!"
what I didn't expect was these kids really turned up the next day haha!! even more punctual than me =P

Chung Hoong, Aimee, Freddie, Yew Onn, Anna, Chun Hoong! it was lovely to see these people again.

everybody is everywhere now. don't you think the 3 gallons of tears which flowed out of my tear glands on the last day in Sentosa was actually reasonable? no matter how close we used to be with each other, time and distance will eventually set us apart. what's left is always just... memory.
2nd of January was spent in Malacca!
Being fickle minded as always, it took me several hours to decide whether to get my hair permed or not. After much discussions with bro and phonecalls to mom (lol! not to mention a few sms-es to my close friends why am I so like that!) I was eventually dragged to Bandar Puteri Puchong for a new hairstyle (well not really new. I had this 2 years ago but still!)
jeng jeng jeng!
received a few positive and negative feedbacks thus far, but being a matured and open minded person *coughs* I think it's good for a change. "new year, new look" a quote from Sigrid Cheoh keke!
dinner in mv with CL, Eugene, JK and LF before we checked out the Library!

Hoegaarden in the Library! muahahahaha!
5 January was one of the most hectic day I had.
First, I walked around MV with the mother to get some stuffs settled.
Then I was picked up to 1utama for Tutti Frutti!!!!
One last indulgence before I head back to Sabah. I'm gonna miss this! =(
Having no luxury of owning a Burberry bag, I pinjam-ed Jessy's to pose a bit.
who are you kidding. It's lienyiny the spicy chilli-padi speaking yo! =P
Third destination was Nihon-Kai for dinner with mom, bro, Alex, Jessy and James. The main guest was Alex of course.. replacing Kelly the sister who's now stuck in Japan waiting for graduation.
4th plan for the day was to have an endless conversation at mamak with Iylia and Keen Wai.

the amount of food they consume my gosh! anyway it was really a great catch up. I must say I enjoyed talking to these two good friends. hilarious, crazy and nice. Can I ship them over to Sabah please!
a random message sent to a coursemate (more like.. a bro) who stayed in Seremban made it to a karaoke day with him and my friends lol.

Ireland Potato's really quite nice. Go get your first bite if you haven't done so, it's pretty worth trying.

haha sampat betul. but seriously, I think I look pretty good walking around with bags like this. One day, I'm gonna get a few bags like this, drive a Volkwagen and get a triple storey house in Lakeview, Mont Kiara or Damansara with my self-earned money!

Resolutions
A year has gone and here's the start of another. I believe many things would remain very much the same as it always has, but this is commonly the time for us to reflect on the year past, and to resolve on what needs to be done in the year ahead in order to be "better".
the word "better" is pretty subjective, it varies from one individual to another. I don't want to be too greedy to make resolutions which I know I can't achieve like I want to score a solid 4.0 or to give up buying unnecessary items in malls. They can't happen.
This year, I'll keep my resolutions simple and little because it's no longer a matter of whether I want to achieve them or not but rather the need to accomplish them given my current state (perhaps even I myself wouldn't know the reasons why I make such resolution 365 days later, but trust me when I say there's a need for these changes to take place in me right now. just.. trust me.)
#1: to talk less and listen more - I want to observe and reflect, not blabber and regret. this resolution is placed in first priority for a reason. I have to make this a habit already, no time for trying.
#2: to let things be and quit sweating the small stuffs - my weakness sigh! I'm not a person who can easily let go of the past and move on with life, but what I can do is try...
#3: to think more, learn more and take the effort to know more - a promise I made to somebody I truly respect. need to work on it.
and that's it. three simple resolutions to be kept for 365 days. I'm gonna print them out and paste it on my study table.

more pictures of my holidays coming up next! Happy New Year everybody!
