Day 3 - Melbourne

My third day in Melbourne was spent mostly with yih yung.. She came all the way down to city from Geelong just to meet me =D

Korean food for lunch, as recommended by her.

I was then brought to China Town to try a cup bubble tea with the addition of some egg puddings (I guess) which tasted surprisingly good! aha! thanks yung for the recommendation!

then we both went walking around the city, took heapsss of pictures and chatted non stop with one another after not meeting for a couple of years.

don't we all just LOVE taking pictures with the grass..? =D

Here's the magnificent Victoria Library

I missed you so much babe! why did you have to leave Malaysia without even saying goodbye =(

we then stopped by at Brunetti for its famous Opera! yum yum!

continued snapping lotsss of pictures I hope you are not bored of my face yet because there are MORE to come lol

too engrossed with myself. sorry! ><

According to Wendy Yit, this is called the St Paul's Anglican church. haha. didn't get to enter the church though.. heard it has a nice deco inside. what a waste.

thanks for all the lovely pictures you've taken for me, yung. *hugs*

The Gelato shop was the stop where both yung and I started to have our "heart-to-heart" talk. We started exchanging the more detailed side of our lives' update, spilled all our discontentment about others, gossiped and exchanged opinions. It's sad that we were both unsure when is the next time we'll ever get to talk like this again =(

Continued our journey to the Crown Casino..

It was actually my first time stepping foot in a casino (yeah, I haven't even been to the one in Genting. Imagine!) Didn't quite like the atmosphere though.. People in there were just.. different.

We both then took a train down to Geelong, met up with yung's bf and was brought to have a fine dinner in a Mexican Resturant.

from yung: the food above is spelled as fajitas (pronounced: far-he-tas)

Apparently the food came in such big portions we couldn't finish them all. what a waste. the girl in the middle is yung's friend/housemate by the way. Her name's Jia Wen. settled down at yung's for the night. end of day 3.

Day 2 - Melbourne

Woke up around 1pm on day 2.. Slept pretty late the night before due to some girly talks I had with Elaine before we went into dreamland.. you know, girls...

Here's a pic of where Elaine stays..

After walking me to the bus stop, I was directed by Elaine on how to get back to Hawthorn from Clayton. when I got into the bus, I really didn't see any sign of a train station. by the time I decided to open my golden mouth and ask a stranger about it, I was told that I was no where near Huntingdale. In fact, the station passed long time ago! shit.

So I quickly got down the bus and asked some pedestrians on how to get to the nearest train station. Since I was not in a rush, while heading towards the train station, I randomly took some pictures of the housing area..

Walking alone along the road gave me a good sense of serenity.. At that point of time, I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude. I felt so comfortable being with myself it surprised me. Weird discovery. haha.

don't ask me where those places are, I really was lost. Stopped by in a pastry shop to have my breakfast.

a hotdog bun costed $4 but it tasted really really good. I sat down there in the shop, took out my diary and started jotting down my feelings. what a random move eh?

Got back home afterthat to accompany Dom to look at his new room as he will be shifting to a new unit next month.

After taking a quick shower, dom and I headed down to city to meet up with Mindy- a primary school friend I haven't met in more than a decade!! Honestly speaking, I was pretty nervous to see her at first.. we used to be pretty close back when we were standard two but I argued a LOT with her I secretly hoped she'd have forgotten all about it after so long =X

Cafe Corretto - an Italian Restaurant located at the Lygon Street. The food was fantastic you gotta go taste them yourself to believe me!

No doubt they were very filling and pretty expensive though..

Both Dom and Mindy speak real good english they actually made me feel inferior T.T Looks like there's a need to improve my proficiency level now..

Had dessert in Brunetti before we all headed back home for rest.

Now you know why I put on so much weight..
